Physical Wellbeing - So What?

As we finished our Physical Wellbeing journals this week, we looked back at our choices.

What choices were we making that were good for us?

What choices could be improved?

Looking at our areas for improvement, students created a plan to help them in an area of need.  We worked on actual products that would help us move in the right direction for our own Physical Wellbeing.

One student created a fitness calendar with different exercises to remind her to do.

Another student wanted to increase her focus before bedtime and her fitness.  She researched new yoga poses to help her.

Noticing a lack of fruits in her diet, another student found some new recipes that could help her eat more fruit.

Another student found some new salad recipes to help him eat more vegetables.

Some created "Mobile Reminders" that hang from the ceiling with a little note for them to drink more water.

Ceiling art was created by a few students to give them something to focus on that isn't an iPad or a phone.

More ceiling art for a restful night's sleep.

Some created games to play in their bedrooms that don't involve using a screen or a device.  This is to help them stay off screened devices 1 hour before bedtime for a more restful night's sleep.

Some made trackers to help them remember how much water they have drank in a day.

But sometimes, notes will help too!

Overall, The Little Minions are on track to get restful sleep, drink lots of water, eat properly, practice good hygiene, use less devices before bed, and stay physically active.  We learned a lot about our Physical Wellbeing and how our choices will be better in the future.
