Today we thought about motion. What does it look like and what are some examples of motion?
To get us pretty excited (and listen to some fun music), we watched OK GO's music video for "This Too Shall Pass" where they used a Rube Goldberg Machine to ultimately cover themselves in paint. A very simple task, completed in an amazingly creative way.
After the video, students we told their challenge: move a ping pong down the hallway about 5 meters. Immediately, students said they could kick the ping pong ball or throw it to complete the task, but we are innovators. We discussed what this word meant and we knew we could develop some creative ways to move our ping pong balls.
