Measuring and Graphing

Today, the Little Minions explores measuring mass with 10g weights.  We explored our balance scales that require an equal weight on both sides.  


We also reviewed what we already knew and understood about graphs.  What makes graphs easy to read?  What information should be included in our graphs to help other people read them? 


After reviewing, students wanted to create their own graphs based on photos or survey questions.  They created their own questions and asked each other to compile data. 


Some students used our class photos instead and found data in the pictures that they could use for graphing.
