How can we make learning about "Rounding" fun?
This week, we tried to practice our rounding skills in fun and interesting ways. We played two math games that provided us just that opportunity!
Rapid Rounding
Students created number lines in the hallway and created challenge cards. They picked a number from the bucket and had to run to the ten or hundred that it would round to. Lots of running around and staying active!
Rounding War
Students drew cards to create 2 & 3-digit numbers and had to round to the nearest ten or hundred. The student with the highest rounded value, gets to keep the cards. The student who gets the most cards, wins!
