Role Reversal - Students do the Teaching

To warm-up for Math class, we often do a "Concept Attainment" chart that challenges us to see patterns among numbers.  We add numbers to the chart one-by-one.  If the number is placed in left column, it has a special quality or follows a rule that only the teacher knows.  As more numbers get sorted, the rule is guessed by students if they can identify the pattern.  Since we've been using this strategy to warm-up, the students have taken over.

Today, Sebastian led the class through a sort that he created.  We guessed many different rules, but kept getting it incorrect.  So we added more and more numbers to the board to see if we could figure out his pattern.

Awesome teaching, Sebastian!
